Chelsea transfer news: Torres set to stay as Milan set sights on teammate

Ba And Torres

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Chelsea.

The Mirror claims AC Milan could be about to turn their attention away from signing Chelsea forward Fernando Torres.

Milan were thought to be keen on a loan deal for the Spaniard but the player is thought to prefer a permanent switch.

Liverpool forward Fabio Borini is reportedly the alternative should attempts to sign Torres fail.

One Chelsea player who could be set to complete a loan move to Milan is midfielder Marco Van Ginkel.

Van Ginkel has struggled to break back into the first team following injury against Swindon last season.

He could join the Serie A giants on a season long deal before returning to Chelsea next year.

Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has joined Everton on a two-year deal.

It’s reported that Eto’o has taken a significant pay cut to link up with the Toffees under Roberto Martinez.

He was often criticised by Jose Mourinho last season for his limits through age.
