GOG.com moving into DRM-free movies

GOG Com Movie Selection 1

The GOG.com website has been given a facelift along with the addition of movie content.

If you're unfamiliar with GOG.com, it's basically a website you can use to buy games that are DRM-free (Digital Rights Management-free) on PC, Mac, and Linux, meaning once you've bought the game you can download it to your hard drive and that's that, no extra authentication processes or restrictions in order to play the game - like the good old days.

Now, with GOG.com's new makeover on their website, they've also announce they're moving into the realm of DRM-free movies too. There are currently 21 movies available, with two of them being completely free. They're mainly made up of indie documentaries about gaming and games at the moment, but GOG hope to move into  offering 'cinema classics as well as some all-time favorite TV series.'

Take a look at the video from GOG.com below, which explains the new set up and the DRM-free movies, and head over to the news section on the site too.
