Arturo Vidal looks likely to be staying at Juventus after his most recent Tweet.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the potential £40 million deal for Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The midfield dynamo had been targeted to bulk up the flimsy midfield at Manchester United - and they really believed they could get him.
Vidal had seen his manager Antonio Conte leave and was reportedly becoming tired of the lack of competition in Serie A.
And it really did look for a long time that Manchester United might actually pull this deal off. But yesterday it was being reported that Vidal had decided he would be remaining at Juventus. He reportedly told team-mates of his decision to stay put, much to the delight of Juventus fans.
Juve are in Serie A action this weekend and Vidal will be in the line-up for the game against Cheivo Verona tomorrow evening.
And Vidal has taken to Twitter today to highlight his excitement ahead of the new season, Tweeting, "Excited to start the championship! 100% let's go Juventus!!!!!"
Listos para comenzar el campeonato! Al 100% vamos Juventus!!!!! pic.twitter.com/Rs1RyOm1Wh— Arturo Vidal (@kingarturo23) August 29, 2014
Vidal is now surely going nowhere. And Manchester United's big transfer business seems to be coming to an end for the summer.
Should United look elsewhere after Vidal snub?
