Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with some top players over the past week.
Tottenham Hotspur can look forward to another shot at winning the Europa League after a big win against AEL last night.
Mauricio Pochettino will be well aware of the need to utilise all parts of his squad over the course of a long and draining season and Spurs could still do some late business in the transfer market.
We’ve looked at five of the best players tipped to join the club this week.
Danny Welbeck (Manchester United)
The Mail claims Welbeck is keen on the idea of a loan move to Spurs. It would allow him to play a higher ration of games away from United, in a system which is arguably more suited to his style. However, whether United will let him join a rival is a different matter.
Alex Song (Barcelona)
Spurs are one of the teams reportedly interested in offering Song a way out of his Nou Camp nightmare. He’d be a good, experienced Premier League option to have sitting in front of the back four but there are plenty of clubs also thought to be interested including Liverpool and Manchester United.
Loic Remy (QPR)
There have been some lingering stories suggesting Tottenham are still interested in a deal for Loic Remy. The French striker has been linked with a move away from QPR for most of the summer but there’s been little official movement from any team following his failed medical at Liverpool.
Mattia De Sciglio (AC Milan)
Reports suggested that Pochettino was keen on a swap deal which would have seen 21-year-old defender Mattia De Sciglio moving to White Hart Lane. The player tipped to move the other way was striker Roberto Soldado, which created confusion as they are players in completely different positions.
Adrien Rabiot (PSG)
Rabiot is one of the most highly rated players in French football. Spurs are one of the sides linked with him and the time could be right to make a move after he refused to train with PSG earlier this week. However, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been tipped to make moves.
Do you expect Spurs to sign anyone else this summer?
