Chelsea maintained their 100% start to the Premier League season with a superb 6-3 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

The Blues opened the season with a 3-1 win over Burnley before a 2-0 triumph over another newly-promoted side, Leicester City, a week ago. This time, it was a much tougher test for Jose Mourinho's side, as they faced a trip to Goodison Park in a meeting with Everton.

Chelsea's display got off to an incredible start, with Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic scoring within the first three minutes, and whilst Kevin Mirallas pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time, Chelsea's dominance told in the second half, with an own goal from Seamus Coleman and goals from Nemanja Matic, Ramires and Costa again cancelling out strikes from Steven Naismith and Samuel Eto'o as Chelsea ran out 6-3 winners.

The headlines were stolen by a sensational display from striker Costa, who joined the club from Atletico Madrid in a £32m deal this summer as Chelsea looked to snap up a new centre forward that could guarantee them goals on a regular basis. That's certainly what Costa has given them so far with four goals in three goals, and Blues fans couldn't hide their delight after the game with a number of tweets praising the Spanish international.
