Manuel Pellegrini's side followed up the opening day win over Newcastle United with a 3-1 triumph over Liverpool on Monday, and they will once again look to impress the home crowd.

The Chilean has made a few changes from the team that beat Liverpool, with Bacary Sagna, Aleksandar Kolarov and Sergio Aguero coming in for Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Edin Dzeko for the return of former City boss Mark Hughes to the Etihad Stadium.

The Potters have failed to meet expectations so far this term, losing 1-0 to Aston Villa on the opening day before labouring to a 1-1 draw against 10-man Hull City last weekend.

City have been in outstanding form so far this term, and will surely be looking to continue that against Stoke this afternoon.
