Good news Arsenal, City - Falcao denies sending Tweet revealing Real Madrid move

Falcao TV Show Colombia

Radamel Falcao has strongly denied Tweeting about an impending Real Madrid move.

The next move in the career of Radamel Falcao has been one of the major talking points of the past couple of weeks, with the Colombian set to depart AS Monaco just one year after joining in a massive move from Atletico Madrid.

The striker is believed to be on the move as part of a big money season long loan deal, after deciding that Ligue 1 was simply not for his taste.

That has prompted the Premier League sides to get cracking. In particular it has been Arsenal and Manchester City linked with his signature.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini seemed to rule out a move after today's defeat to Stoke while Arsene Wenger insists his team do not need another striker, despite losing Olivier Giroud through injury.

However it would appear that no matter how much interest City or Arsenal do have in the potent finisher it will not matter, as he looks set to return to Madrid with a move to Real. Despite reports earlier in the week suggesting that Real Madrid had dropped their interest in Falcao, which got Arsenal and City fans very excited, he obviously did not get the memo - judging by this Tweet on his official account.

He was believed to have quickly deleted the Tweet when he realised, 'bother, people might read into that' but it was too late, it had been cut and pasted across the web and now it seems the cat is out of the bag, Falcao is on his way to Real.

However, Falcao has now denied that he ever sent the Tweet. He has taken to, Twitter, to explain that he never sent the Tweet - rather it is a photoshopped hoax which has caught fire.

'I have to refute a story about a tweet I have not done and that is a photo shop.'

But how can we believe this Falcao Tweet if the other Falcao Tweet was not true Falcao?

The plot twists and thickens but put it this way, don't trust anything you see on Twitter - wait till the deal is done.

Is Falcao a likely target?
