90% pass accuracy, 100% shooting accuracy: Could this be Swansea star's best season?

Danny Graham And Nathan Dyer

Swansea City star Nathan Dyer shone for his side as they beat West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Last season, Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer scored six Premier League goals in 27 appearances.

This season, he already has three in just three matches, suggesting he could be set for his finest campaign in a Swans shirt....provided, of course, he can maintain his excellent recent form.

Against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, Dyer scored two goals to help his side to a 3-0 victory that temporarily sent them to the top of the table.  And while Chelsea may have replaced them later in the day in emphatic fashion, the efforts of Garry Monk's side thus far should not  be understated.

Dyer followed up his goal against Burnley with two more strikes against the Baggies, scoring with his only two attempts on goal.

He also impressed with his passing accuracy, with a 90.91% success rate from a total of 33 passes.

In short, Dyer was fantastic on Saturday, and at 26 there is no reason why he should not be reaching the peak of his career.

Swansea have certainly defied expectations thus far under Monk, and while the challenges have only just begun there is every chance both he and his players can excel throughout the season.
