Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Jordan Henderson's performance against Spurs

Liverpool FC - Seeing Is Believing - Jordan Henderson

Liverpool overcame Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 on Sunday, but what did Reds fans make of Jordan Henderson's performance?

Jordan Henderson may not have got on the score-sheet for Liverpool in their 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, but the England international was crucial to the great work of those around him.

The Reds midfielder is now unquestionably a vital part of Brendan Rodgers' side, and he proved it again with an impressive performance at White Hart Lane.

Henderson set up the opening goal of the game for Raheem Sterling and from then on there only looked like being one winner.

The former Sunderland player had 61 touches of the ball and distributed it brilliantly, successfully completing 92.68% of his passes.  He made 11 forward passes as he continually pushed his teammates forward and he also won four interceptions.

Henderson is not the headline player in this Liverpool team, but he is a vital component of it.  He allows those around him to do what they do best and his passing range and accuracy deserves more credit.

Rodgers' side continued their impressive recent form against Tottenham, who have now failed to score against them in three consecutive matches.

And as much as Henderson offered a creative outlet he also protected his back-line well to ensure the Reds not only kept a clean-sheet, but also allowed Spurs just a single shot on target in 94 minutes of football.

After the match, we took to Twitter to see what Liverpool fans thought of Henderson's performance, and below you can read a selection of what we found:
