Moreno, Balotelli and more: Liverpool stars react on Twitter to 3-0 win

Liverpool Scarves

A number of Liverpool players have taken to social media to reveal their happiness at their 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday continued their impressive recent form against the North London club.  It also saw a debut for Mario Balotelli and a first goal for summer signing Alberto Moreno and both players took to Twitter after the game to express their joy at the result.

Moreno scored the final goal in the Reds' triumph and after the game he posted a picture of him celebrating along with the message, "Very happy for the victory for the team and my first goal in the Premier League.  Come on Liverpool FC."

Balotelli may not have got on the score-sheet but he still clearly enjoyed the game.

"Great win!" he wrote.  "Wonderful experience to play my first match in Liverpool FC shirt.  Fans were fantastic, travel safe back home."

Liverpool fans will no doubt be pleased by the sentiment, and they will now be hoping their Italian front-man can get his first goal since returning to England sooner rather than later.

England duo Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge also sent messages, as both looked ahead to international duty with England.

Sterling netted the first of Liverpool's three goals while Sturridge failed to find the net.

But whatever happens with the Three Lions, Rodgers will be hoping his players return ready to kick on after an impressive performance against a side they seem to enjoy facing.
