Newcastle were stunned against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, as an injury time equaliser from Wilfried Zaha earned the Eagles a point.

A topsy turvy game on Tyneside saw Newcastle and Crystal Palace share the spoils - and given the nature of the game, it was probably a fair result.

In the week where both Neil Warnock and Wilfried Zaha made shock returns to Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace were handed the perfect start when Dwight Gayle followed up his midweek hattrick against Walsall with another goal today, but Dutch international full back scored his first Premier League goal to bring Alan Pardew's men level.

The home side tried to kick on from there in the second half, but Jason Puncheon put previous bad blood with Warnock behind him to put Palace back in front, only for Newcastle teenager Rolando Aarons to equalise again with a header from a corner, scoring his first Premier League goal in the process.

Newcastle then took the lead for the first time with a goal from Mike Williamson on his 100th appearance for the Magpies, but deep in to stoppage time, Zaha marked his return to Palace from Manchester United with a dramatic equaliser to hand Palace a much needed point after defeats to London rivals Arsenal and West Ham United. Here is a selection of some of the best images from the game...
