Derby County, Bournemouth and Leeds United feature.

Deals in the Football League to keep an eye on this Monday September 1.

Derby County and Bournemouth could complete a swap deal, suggest the Derby Evening Telegraph.

Derby have reportedly made a bid for Matt Ritchie, who scored nine goals in the Championship last season for the Cherries.

Bournemouth are said to want to sign Johnny Russell from the Rams, who himself struck nine times in 2013/14.

The deals are not necessarily dependent on each other, and one alone could go through.

24-year-old Ritchie has two assists in his opening four league games so far this season.

Leeds United are eyeing a deal of their own, despite being without a manager at present.

The Mail report they want to sign Everton youngster Matt Pennington on loan.

Pennington, 19, can play at right-back or in central defence and played on loan at Tranmere Rovers last season.

He has a contract at Everton until 2015 and would use the Leeds loan to show the Toffees he is deserving of an extension and regular football at Goodison Park.

Leeds have conceded eight goals so far this season and have negative goal difference of five, sitting in 18th in the Championship table.

Would Derby or Bournemouth be getting the best deal?
