AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Parma winger Jonathan Biabiany, a player reportedly on the radar of several Premier League clubs this transfer window.
The lightning fast attacking player has moved regularly since arriving in Serie A as a youth player, first featuring for Milan's crosstown rivals Inter. He then took in spells at four other Italian clubs, before settling at Parma under Rossoneri legend Roberto Donadoni in 2012.
Last season he enjoyed one of his strongest campaigns, featuring 36 times as Parma earned a superb sixth placed finish, scoring 6 times and assisting 7.
It was the kind of form that has seen him head back to the San Siro, this time linking up with the red and blacks rather than the blue and blacks, where he will look to play a part in Milan's rejuvenation.
The two sides were keen to bring in reinforcements on the wing this summer, with the Toffees settling for Ghanian wide man Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea.
Much of Southampton's transfer efforts have seen them pursuing Tottenham winger Andros Townsend with various increasing bids, a deal that failed to get off the ground.
Should Everton or Southampton have made a move for Biabiany?
