We bring you the news from Aston Villa, Leicester City, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Villa could still sign Tom Cleverley

Aston Villa could still complete a deal for Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.

It had seemed a deal had fallen through over the England international’s wage demands, but James Pearce has revealed that a season-long loan could still go ahead.

Liam Moore not fazed by Premier League stars

Liam Moore insists that he is not fazed to face some of the big name talents in the Premier League.

The young defender has impressed in Leicester’s games at the top level so far and he says that he is not scared despite the jump in standard after promotion last term.

"They are just names on the back of a shirt," he said.

"Everyone is human. They all have two legs and two arms. Stuff like that doesn't get to me at all.

"It has been a very enjoyable test and I have always made it clear I want to play at the highest level against some of the world's best.”

Mark Hughes delighted to welcome back Assaidi

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says that Oussama Assiadi is delighted to be back to the club.

The Potters agreed a deal to bring Assaidi back to the Britannia on loan yesterday and Hughes says the winger is looking forward to playing for the club who impressed last season again.

"It's clear from talking to Oussama that he really enjoyed his time with us last season and he's looking forward to picking up where he left off with us,” he said to the club’s official site.

James Morrison backs West Brom squad

West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison has backed the squad at the club to steer them clear of the relegation zone.

Concerns have to be raised at the Hawthorns after a poor start to the season, but Morrison insists that Baggies have enough quality to stay in the top division.

“We’ve got a big squad now and we just need to get players fit and pushing for places,” he said.

“Then I think we’ll be ready to survive in this league.

Kenny Jackett’s reveals Wolves tried for Delort

Kenny Jackett has revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers tried to sign Andy Delort, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.

The striker ended up joining Wigan Athletic from FC Tours yesterday after his wage demands proved too expensive for Wolves to compete with.

“We made a very considerable bid but in terms of his personal demands it wouldn’t come into the wage structure,” Jackett said.

Will Assaidi be a hit back at Stoke? Do you want Cleverley at Villa?
