A video from the Gearbox Software panel at PAX Prime gives further details on the devs' newest title.
Battleborn is the newest IP from Gearbox Software, creators of the Borderlands games. It's a first-person shooter with MOBA elements set in the future, where players must fight for the last dying star in the universe.
In a video from IGN we hear co-founder of Gearbox Software Randy Pitchford talk a little more about Battleborn during their panel at PAX Prime last weekend, and what we can expect from the title when it's released.
A 'huge' selection of characters is mentioned that you can 'grow' from their most basic state into their 'most powerful state, very rapidly,' says Pitchford.
Plenty of images are shown the video, along with the reveal trailer that was first seen a couple of months ago. A couple more devs from Gearbox are brought on to discuss some of the characters in the game too, first speaking about Miko the 'combat-botanist'. Take a look at the video below.
Battleborn has no set release date, but it's expected sometime in 2015.
