Ben Arfa wrote an open letter to the Toon Army.
The playmaker appears to have played his last game for the club given that he will be out of contract at the end of the season, which makes him a free agent.
But the Frenchman took the time to write an open letter to the fans in the North East after he secured his switch to the KC Stadium.
He wrote in the Chronicle: “To the Toon Army I want to pass on my thanks to all the fans that supported me during my time at the club and living in a city that will be forever in my heart.
“Thank you also to everyone at NUFC and to Hull for making this loan happen.
“I wish Newcastle the best of luck. I hope they have a good season.
“I can’t wait to launch my career again with Hull and Steve Bruce. I thank him for the trust he has shown in me bringing me to this club.”
The 27-year-old had been frozen out by Newcastle manager Alan Pardew and has been made to train with the reserves, and joining Hull means Ben Arfa will now get the opportunity to play first-team football again.
The talent Ben Arfa has is there for all to see, and he produced some eye-catching displays during his time at the club, and he will be hoping to recapture that form on Humberside.
