Juventus star Arturo Vidal was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the past few months.
Even on transfer deadline day, there were reports claiming that the Red Devils were going to put in a late bid in order to sign the 27-year-old. However, the summer transfer window has now closed and the midfielder remains a Juventus player.
Vidal does not seem to be affected by that. The former Bayer Leverkusen star started the Italian champions’ opening game of the Serie A season against Chievo in Verona on Saturday and had a good outing.
The midfielder is now in the USA on international duty for Chile. The South American nation will take on Mexico in a friendly match in Santa Clara, California on September 6, and three days later they will face Haiti in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Chile players have been training hard ahead of the two matches, but they are also making the most of their time outside the sessions.
After training on Tuesday, a number of Chile players, including Vidal and former Cardiff City star Gary Medel (now at Inter Milan), decided to enjoy some sunshine.
Will Manchester United regret missing out on Arturo Vidal?
