Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne Belgium

Swansea City, Manchester City, Sunderland, QPR, Chelsea, Stoke City and Burnley players also feature.

There will be no Premier League this weekend due to an international break, and for certain strikers the rest or change of scenery may be a positive.

Three games into the season, several forwards are still searching for the first goals of the season in England's top flight, despite aspirations to get off to a fast start.

We took a look with the help of Opta, at the strikers who had fired in the most efforts on goal, still to find the net.

Loïc Remy QPR FW 7 3 0 2 180
Ricardo Vaz Te West Ham FW 7 3 0 3 216
Danny Ings Burnley FW 6 0 0 3 250

Wilfried Bony will be the most frustrated of the bunch, landing six attempts on target from 10 efforts, and still to register on the scoresheet.

The Swansea striker was linked strongly with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool in the transfer window, and a prolific start to the season could have secured a last minute move.

Edin Dzeko is usually more clinical in front of goal than his record this season would suggest, landing only one of eight attempts on target.

To see Yaya Sanogo on the list is little surprise, seven of his eight attempts on goal came in one game against Leicester City.

Two of the more fascinating names on the list are Everton's £28 million man Romelu Lukaku, and Chelsea new boy Loic Remy, who while playing for QPR matched the Belgian in having seven efforts on goal and failing to score.

Burnley's Danny Ings, prolific in the Championship last season will be particularly disappointed to gave got off to a slow start in the Premier League, failing to land a single effort on target, while West Ham's Ricardo Vaz Te continues to flatter to deceive.
