A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard decided against having a leaving party when he left the club.

Lampard opted for a move to New York City FC in the MLS when his Blues contact ended after last season.

“There are not a lot of things I regret in my Chelsea career but not being able to say my goodbyes properly to all of the Chelsea fans is certainly one. Thirteen years is a long time,” Lampard’s regret.

Thibaut Courtois is rated higher in the latest edition of FIFA than two of his Chelsea teammates.

The Belgian has been given a better rating by the video game than the rival for his position, Petr Cech, and in form striker, Diego Costa.

Chelsea striker Loic Remy scored the only goal of the game as France defeated Spain 1-0 last night.

Remy came off of the bench to secure the strike against a Spain team missing several key players from their starting line-up.

“We were up against a good Spain team with some players no longer there but others coming in,” said France boss Didier Deschamps.
